Kids Tooth Team Courses

Dr. Alex Otto is a board certified pediatric dentist and the co-founder of Kids Tooth Team Pediatric Dentistry, Kids Tooth Team Outreach, and Alcan Dental Cooperative. She was recently recognized as one of the 2022 "Top 10 under 10" dentists in the country by the American Dental Association, 2024 "Top 40 under 40" for the national Incisal Edge publication, and has been voted the best Pediatric Dentist and Best Dentist in Hays County multiple years running. She is honored to have been inducted as fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Alex is a passionate advocate for the dental profession and serves in every level of the tripartite. She is a national ADA Success Program Speaker, member to the Texas Dental Association's (TDA) Council on Professions and Trends, and is co-chair of the Capital Area Dental Society (CADS) Membership Council. In the pediatric dental community, Dr. Alex is the current Vice President of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD) and member-at-large for the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SWSPD). She is a KOL, clinical faculty and an instructor for Sprig Crowns, speaking internationally for Sprig and teaching other doctors how to incorporate zirconia crowns into their practices. Dr. Alex is very proud to have co-founded both Kids Tooth Team Pediatric Dentistry (a pediatric small group practice with locations in Buda, South Austin, and Kyle, Texas) and Kids Tooth Team Outreach with her husband Tim Otto. Kids Tooth Team Pediatric Dentistry's mission is to elevate the quality and expand the availability of children's oral healthcare in our community. Kids Tooth Team Outreach is a 501c3 non-profit organization that utilizes a 2-operatory mobile dental RV to provide a dental home and free dental care to underserved children in Texas. Kids Tooth Team Outreach serves local schools, women's shelters and other organizations in need in our community. Dr. Alex and her husband Tim live in Buda, Texas along with their (human) children Max and Adaline, and (fur children) Rambo and Bremer.
